We currently reside on the Madoran server. Our guild was created in Burning Crusade as a 10m Kharazan guild. We progressed through the Burrning Crusade expansion as a 25 man raiding guild, and taking down Illidan and venturing into Sunwell before the 3.0 patch. During Wrath of the Lich King, we became the #1 guild on the server, acquiring many of the server first achievements.
We are a very stable guild. We have been around for 3+ years and we have no intention of going anywhere. The leadership in this guild has been together that entire time as well, so the guild is in good hands.
We are a Hardcore progression guild that raids only 3 nights a week. We pride ourselves on working smarter, not harder, which allows us to get more done in only a few nights of raiding.

Our Loot System:
We use an EPGP loot system with a 30% decay. The large decay promotes not sitting on your points and spending them on marginal upgrades as well as big upgrades.

What are we looking for in a raider?
We want people who are reliable and intelligent. People who can avoid fires. People who do not die in the first 30 seconds of a fight 3 out of 5 pulls. Rocking the DPS charts is great, but it doesn't do you much good if your on your back 60% of the time. If you are the type of person that understands how to stay alive and has the intelligence and coordination to do so, you are exactly what we are looking for.
If you don't show up to 2 raids when we only raid 3 times a week, than that isn't a good sign. We do require our raiders to maintain above a 60% raid attendance. That means if you can make 2/3 of our raids, your fine. We don't think 3 raids a week for 3 hours a time is asking a whole lot, so we expect our raiders to show and be prepared for each raid.
Sounds great, how do I join?
The first thing your going to want to do is find an officer either on our website or in game and talk with them. We don't just invite random Joes off the street, we do like to have conversations with anyone interested to make sure they are a good fit for our guild.
Fill out an application on our site (http://matador.guildlaunch.com). Fill it out accurately and competently. If you spend 3 minutes filling out our application, that's how much time we'll spend considering it. Make it meaningful.
