What are we?
Atrocity is an Alliance raiding guild. We are actively recruiting an Enhancement Shaman, Frost DK, Protection Paladin, Balance Druid, raid spec Warlock, raid spec mage, and Elemental Shaman. We fancy ourselves a reasonably well-spoken, and semi-well-adjusted lot. We want all our members to be capable of raiding at a "hard-core" level, but within "casual" time limits. Our raids are currently Wed, Fri, Sun and Mon from 6:00 to 10:00-ish dependent on the exact day.
What makes us special?
We use hard stop times for our raids. Each raid will have both a set start and stop time. Raids are over with by 10:15 server (PST) time. We do this to prevent raids from dragging on into the small hours. I just can't handle 7 hour raids anymore :(
We also designate an "off week" every month (or so). During this week raiding will be put on a back burner so everyone can daily, BG, rest, fornicate, study, chill, or play StarCraft II. (WTB StarCraft II.)
What we expect
Specific member expectations can be found on our website. In general we expect players to be very well versed in their chosen class, able to take difficulties in stride, and be intelligent. Solid skills in theorycrafting and addon usage will also be required. Beyond this all members should have very strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
Raid wise everyone is expected to raid at least twice a week. Anyone with below 50% raid attendance without a reasonable excuse is removed from the guild.
The Plan
As we're making our way into Ulduar we're looking for a few more core raiders to fill some slots, while at the same time finishing gearing up anyone who needs via 25-man Naxx and 10-man Ulduar runs. While we do run Ulduar every reset it will become our sole focus in coming weeks.
