Recruiting
We are recruiting all classes. We are looking for a mix of gamers that are needed to build a well rounded guild. We need raiders, crafters, casual gamers, and any other type of player willing to assist our guild grow.
Note: We want more then just raiders! It has been our experience that players can still be extremely valuable to a guild even if they don�t participate in raids. If raiding is not your cup of tea, there is still much we can offer each other!
About Us
The founders of Knights of Ravenguard have been playing RPGs since the mid-80�s. We have played a variety of MMORPGs, including; The Saga of Ryzom, Vanguard, Dark Ages of Camelot, Everquest, Everquest 2, Asheron�s Call, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes/Villians, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Fantasy Life and ROSE Online. In World of Warcraft we want to explore new content while enjoying the company of fellow players and friends. We will hold regular raids, sponsor guild events and have nightly activities. We welcome new and experience players alike.
Requirements� We are a mature group, mostly ages 25 � 40, recruiting gamers 18+ (Exceptions have been and can be made, but it won�t be the norm).
� No drama or unnecessary L337 speak. Treat others like you would want to be treated.
� We strive for an active community. We require that you at least check the forums a few times a week to stay current on upcoming guild events and raids. The forums will also be used to schedule assistance for raids, quests, events and dungeons.
� We have a Ventrilo Server for easy voice communications. We require that all our members at least listen to Ventrilo during our raids. Raids can be daunting enough, we prefer our raid leaders not typing in all his/her instructions.
� There is no required raid participation. We feel that there are places in a guild for non-raiding gamers. If you have no interest in raiding please do not let this sway you from applying, as we still have places for other styles of gamers. We are looking for an assortment of players that will help form a well rounded guild and contribute to a growing community.
� We believe in a supportive and co-operative environment dedicated to helping guild members. This can mean there will be times you will have to make sacrifices and put your needs behind those of the group. It will also mean there will be times that guild mates will do the same for you.
� Willingness to have fun while developing your own character and helping others.
What We Offer� A friendly, fun and generous atmosphere.
� Predefined schedule for raids, starting at 8PM server time.
� 3 raiding teams to allow a better chance to fit your schedule and offer more raiding opportunities.
� Predefined days (non-raiding nights) for guild events and questing assistance so other guild members can complete quests without having to rely on pick up groups.
� A group of friends who will make sacrifices to assist you in times of need. We will dedicate ourselves to helping you craft, adventure, explore, raid, quest and anything else you need.
� An opportunity to tackle some of Warcrafts toughest challenges with fellow highly skilled and dedicated gamers.
� A prescreened player base that must participate in a thorough initiation period. We do this to ensure that we are recruiting players that share the same high standards and expectations we have.
� Optional participation in guild wide projects.
With our highly organized structure, we will not be the best guild for everyone. We demand a high standard from our players in aspects of activity, commitment and maturity. We will invest a great deal of time and resources into helping you develop your character and do not want �guild hoppers.� We want gamers who share the same principles as we do and who will dedicate themselves to the advancement and growth of the guild and its members.
