Prodigal Son Seeks Active, Friendly Guild

I'm a returning player seeking an active, friendly guild with members who like to joke around and have a good time. The social aspect of MMORPGs is the most important part for me; I do like raiding and acquiring good gear, but in-game accomplishments mean nothing to me without a group of friends to enjoy the game with. That being said, I can be very hardcore, if that's what the guild wants — but I'm not going to join a guild who will initially judge me on the strength of my in-game character. I've learned in over a decade of playing MMORPGs that such guilds are never a good fit for me.

I'm perfectly willing to fill out an application, though! In fact, any such application will most likely end up being tl;dr, just like this post. ;)

Right now, I'm very flexible. I can hop onto any server, of any type, either Horde or Alliance; I have Burning Crusade and will absolutely buy Wrath of the Lich King if I decide to stay, dependent only upon finding a guild that's a good fit for me within the month. As I mentioned earlier, I'm a returning player, so I'm still quite familiar with how WoW works: add-ons, questing, game mechanics, geography, the economy, and so on and so forth. I haven't played since early 2007, however.

I have a headset, Ventrilo, and Teamspeak, and I'm not shy about using them. Voice chat is probably the best way to get to know me. I'm friendly, bold, and I love to crack wise. I never beg, I don't complain (unless it's to be humorous), and I'm a fast learner.

I'm leveling up a few characters on the Argent Dawn and Bonechewer servers to re-familiarize myself with the game and install a bunch of add-ons, and I'll probably spend a week re-arranging my UI.

So if you think I could be a good addition to your guild, just respond to this thread or send me a PM, and strike up a conversation if you like.

Oh yeah, and as for my time zone, that's flexible, too.
