i will never say, the Cheshire Cats are an eRP guild. i will say, we are a Mature Themed guild, and take role-playing seriously. It's our passion. If all you want to do is login and eRP all night, this may not be the guild for you. We believe in building our characters in challenging storylines and enjoying all aspects of role-play.
IC Notes:
Cheshire Cats aint fer everyone.
Some unknown force has sent out a Sickness..... disease(?) that has attacked the Alliance races. No one knows how long it has slithered through people, through families, through guilds and gangs alike creating unexplainable rifts and abandonments.
The Cheshire Cats, being close and tight were unaffected for a time, or so it seemed. Until now.
It started with a Warden... For no reason he suddenly left in a fit of rage throwing his tabard into the fire. And then it spread from there like wildfire.
One by one, once strong minds were twisted, tainted, poisoned. Turned.
Crawling out of her drunken stupor, the gang leader finally noticed this. But it was almost too late. In the day it took her to sober up and gather all the information she could about what was happening from her less then savory channels almost all the gang had deserted her.
But still, she was unaffected, as were a small handful of others. She knew she had to act fast before she lost them too.
For a price she purchased some Bobbles of Beguilement and handed them out with instruction what must be done.
The remaining Cats didn't have much time, they packed what they could, got what they needed, and while looking into each others eyes before the fire in the guild hall they embarked on the journey that would change their lives...forever.
Into enemy lines...Wolves in sheep's clothing...
They woke yo find their bodies had been changed. With a small amount of effort they stole away from their Keep and into the Blasted Lands. From there they made their way to Dalaran.
Everything had been changed... except their minds, their souls. While they may have horde bodies, inside they were still what they were born as.
And now, forced to leave their old lives behind, they must stick together like never before learning how to fit in... or be discovered and die.
As Kat lay on the dusty red earth of Kalimdor staring up into the clear night sky her amber eyes fixed on a twinkling star and she wondered faintly if anymore would follow...and what the future held. Nearby her officers looked on.
It was time to live, or time to die.

* Well established, almost five years old.
* Mature, intelligent members.
* Be lvl 15 or Higher. You gotta show you care about your character. (But note you can send in your OOC application at ANY time.)
* Have a serious desire to role play... or even if you cannot role play all that well and want to learn from the best... we will help teach you. Just have the passion.
* A very active website, where members keep track of events, and character lives. We have role-playing sections to play out stories you may not be able to find time to do in game and more. We take role-playing to a whole new level.
* We follow Blizzards Role-Play server guide-line. (Yes there really is one.) And take great pride in being IC at ALL times.
*Dedicated OOC channel available.
* Guild Movies (and character artwork!). i work hard to create movies featuring the guild and its memorable characters. Be they personal character movies, or movies depicting some of our adventures they become another building block in the foundation of this guilds rich history. You can find them all on YouTube, under TheCheshireCats.
* NOTE: We generally play the characters no one else wants to play. The evil, the rotten, the questionable, the unsure. Don't feel restricted with role-play here. And don't worry about members confusing YOU with your character. ALL Cheshire Cats ahere heavily to The Line.
We also have a lengthy application process. This process involves quite a bit of role-play, and an OOC application, which in turn demonstrates to us if you are a mature role-player or not. It helps to make sure, no children get in this guild.
What you will not see in this guild:
- People blurring/crossing the Line. We have zero tollerance for people who start to confuse real life with in game life and events.
- Degrading other members, and rudely criticizing their methods of RP. Here we nurture and help. Not put down and make others feel bad.
- The guild leader ignoring Line violations or member harassment.- The guild leader here is impartial, and will always do what is best for the guild and its members. So if you happen to be her friend don't think for a moment you can get away with anything.

Cheshire Cat-Dissension Pride!
Members take pride in saying they are a Cheshire Cat. Being a Cat is a way of living to us. Being a Cat strikes deep into ones heart where things you are passionate about are blown into a living representation. IC our characters fight against what society may think of them, and OOC we have come to be banded together even tighter against people who are out to do nothing but destroy us over past negative feelings and events.
It's just FUN to be a Cat!
We love to role-play, but we have a motto.
Real Life first- Always.
We understand if you can't make a meeting, or an event... we try hard to work the game around real life- as it should be.
So while IC we may look a little shady and questionable.. OOC we are the best bunch around.

**Note: One thing i'd like to point out here, we are not a huge guild. We are tight knit family. Both IC and OOC. We are a special collection of really great role-players who aren't afraid to play a character that is outside the box, and press our role-play abilities to their limits. We believe it's quality of people, not numbers.
As far as raiding goes, the Cats have enough to hit those 'high end' places like Kara, but we prefer to take our time and help others obtain the level to join us (While role-playing). Coz that's what we are about.
We even have an open to all RP area called The World of Azeroth where there is NO registration or membership required to post. Guests are free to use the site to post their characters descriptions, histories, stories etc. Curious? Come peek. It's very active and a great place to display your hard work.
