Emarosa EU is a top end raiding guild. Our number one priority is progression;
Not your nans cat or your goldfish drowning.
Here is a few things you should know:
- Repeated AFKs are taken seriously.
- Repeated failure to attend is also taken seriously.
- We have good english humor
- We are all english speaking
- We dont use raid calendar. You are expected to show up at 19:30 every night (early birds are smiled at).
- We use a loot council system. This means loot is distributed based upon what will help us progress. So if you suck at attending dont expect to be in the guild for long.
- We like alts. alot. We like willingness to play them.
- Ragequitting does not happen.
- Plugging is worse than rage quitting. We can usually tell when you've plugged.
- No high maintenance players.
- you should know all the tactics, all the bugs and all the game mechanics you can take advantage of for that fight.
- Your raid spot is based upon your performance, so if your perfomance is not up to our standards you may be replaced.
- We use alts to cover for the occasional absence usually. If you dont like that system, then this isnt the right place for you.
- Dont join this guild to make friends, we are generally nice people; but we play to progress. That is all.
- Dont apply if you are trying to sleep your wait to the top. We are all virtually castrated; go elsewhere.
The qualities we are looking for are as follows:
- your attendance is 100% (apart from if your hands get chopped off or you cant pay the rent.)
- your skill level is top 50 standard (AKA if you dont think you are capable of this, dont bother applying.)
- We like players who are relatively elitist; it shows dedication. Just dont throw your balls in our face too often; the carecup is empty.
- You look up every boss fight. The only information we give you if positioning and some obscure mechanics.
- Common sense is key.
- We dont do package applications. The only exceptions is when you are both highly skilled and we want your class. So apply if you think you fit that category.
- We like players who know how to keep their addons updated and their UI clean.
- Dont spend your trial trying to impress us with words.
- Spend your trial looking at boss tactics and discussing strategy with us on ventrilo.
- Keeping your alts geared is a good plus.
