[H] <Voltage> -Khadgar- Raids M-Th 8-12 EST 11/12 ICC ****Need Ranged DPS****

[:1]<Voltage> is a Horde guild on Khadgar, an EST server. We have been around since Vanilla, attaining many server firsts along the way. We are a guild interested not only in raiding, but also fostering a fun environment to play in. Currently we are 11/12 in ICC.

Most of our members are adults with jobs but enjoy raiding as a hobby. We are a small (about 30+ active raiders averaging 90% attendance), tight-knit, drama-free guild made up of people who have been raiding together for over 4 years. We have been a top horde guild on Khadgar since The Burning Crusade ended, with many server firsts, including M'uru and Kil'Jaeden in Sunwell.

In Wrath of the Lich King, we are Conquerors of Naxxramas, Obsidian Slayers, Magic Seekers and Immortals. We have cleared all of Ulduar, ToGC, and on our way with ICC.

We try to accomplish as much as we can with only 4 days of raiding and aim to finish each raid under 4 hours. As always, we're on the look out for like minded raiders who are in it for the long haul. If you're the type that requires little hand-holding, takes pride in playing your character well and simply love to raid, please check us out.

We have openings for the following:

Updated 3-31-2010

*HIGH* Hunter: 1 spot

*HIGH* Mage: 1-2 Spot

*HIGH* Shadow Priest: 1-2 Spots

*HIGH* Warlock: 1-2 Spots

*HIGH* Elemental Shaman: 1 spot

*HIGH* Moonkin druid (must be *exceptional*): 1 spot

Any other DPS should feel free to apply.

We raid from 8pm to 12am eastern, Monday through Thursday.

Gear Distribution

We use a DKP system for loot. DKP will be awarded on a straight hourly basis (with bonus for first kill) and tracked in intervals over the course of a raid. For example, if 6 DKP is awarded every hour, that's roughly 24 DKP per night (it may go to 4 per hour). So, if someone like myself logs on after school at 9:30pm, I will lose an hour and a half worth of the nights total DKP (I'd receive 8-10 less). This will help ensure that the players who are present the most, and put in the most effort are receiving DKP that reflects it.

Also, we have the option of letting each *member* take one night off per month with no DKP loss. We understand that we require you to give a lot of your time and effort, and taking a night off here and there is a good way to keep people from getting stressed.

Code of Conduct

1. We expect each and every person bearing the Voltage guild tag to conduct themselves with maturity and decency.

2. Remember that we are all here to have fun, not just yourself. Be considerate to your fellow guild members.

3. Be punctual! If you will be late or absent for raid for any reason, please post on the guild forums or notify someone in game or through the forum messaging system in advance.

5. Relax and enjoy yourself during farm raids, it will make the time go by pleasantly and quickly.

6. All required raiding mods must be kept up to date and active.

7. If you need to AFK during a raid, inform the raid leader ahead of time. Do not disrupt the raid at your convenience.

8. Prolonged absence without notice is grounds for demotion or removal. Be considerate and inform your class lead or an officer so we can adjust accordingly.

9. Don't be a whiny *****, loot whore, prima donna or drama queen.

10. Check the guild forums on a regular basis.

Thanks for your time,

Wallrus
